So I know you aren't supposed to ride horses (or motorcycles) when you are 27.5 weeks pregnant, but I couldn't help myself. It was a wild ride but I think the baby and I both enjoyed it and no harm was done. In the photo you see Hugo - as named by my neice Julia Maya Newhall - giving 'us' a little run for our money.
The nursery is coming together - after my mom and brother surprisingly got my grandfather's crib back together and left it at our house over Memorial Day Weekend. (the crib blew off of the back of mom's truck when they were bringing it up here the first time - that is right a 150 year old crib onto Rt. 60 by the boatlock). It is good as new - smaller than I remember it looking - but still good as new. Now we just have to decide about a changing table.
In other news the babies obsession with Kung Fu Fighting is over. I have limited movement during the day, but now at night when I am sleeping - WOW - does the little one go nuts! The kicks are so strong my stomach just rolls around. It is very odd when I have a dream and am startled awake by an alien coming out of my stomach; oh wait I am just pregnant. Jonathan doesn't like me waking him up so he can feel it... We are both enjoying every minute of it. 12 weeks and 3 days (plus or minus a few) until we meet baby Newhall!
